Jon Stutfield is Managing Director of BLISS, a creative agency with a digital bias. Originally a painter and sculptor, Jon turned to the emerging internet industry 15 years ago, working as a developer for Nokia and GEC Marconi. A move to Manchester in 2000 saw a jump to agency life, culminating in the creation of BLISS in 2010.

Election Statement

I'm standing for the Manchester Digital Council with a view to generate positive activity to and from the organisation. Despite recent improvements to integrate into the community, there is still a disconnect between what producers of digital work are doing and how they are represented by the association. As such, membership participation is low and apathy is high. As a member of the Council, I will look to inspire members by ensuring Manchester Digital leads by example. Individuals will be given opportunities to flourish, and their subsequent participation will help MD achieve its goal of increasing awareness of the sector.
