Think you have a great idea for a digital comedy. Short sketch or hilarious web series pilot? If so, we would like to hear it!
COFILMIC, has organised an opportunity for those who are either already making great digital comedy content, or who have fresh new ideas which might work within the digital space. The best 6 ideas, received in writing, will be pitched live to a panel of industry experts at the COFILMIC Comedy Film Festival on Tuesday 30th October 2012.
The industry panel will include:

DAVINA EARL: PRODUCER, THE DIGITAL FICTION FACTORY
ALEX CONNOCK: SHINE TV
The shortlisted ideas will be pitched for a maximum of 5 mins, with feedback being given on each. The team behind the best pitch will have the chance to meet with The Digital Fiction Factory at MediaCityUK to receive some further feedback, tips, and advice for idea development.
Your idea must be:
- VIDEO BASED
- AND NOT ALREADY PUBLICLY VIEWABLE ON YOU TUBE OR ELSEWHERE
How to enter:
Send us two lines, by e-mail, explaining the concept behind your funny idea. You will really need to sell this to us in order to be considered for the shortlist. In addition, you can send us links to previous work and, in no more than 50 words, more details about you, and why you think your idea is original and funny. Only one entry per person please, oh and you must be based in the North of England. Submit this information to: email@example.com no later than 9am on Friday 12th October.
Shortlisted ideas will be notified by e-mail on or around: Monday 22nd October 2012.
You must be available to present your pitch in person on: Tuesday 30th October at The Comedy Store, Manchester.
