There are two main types of Manchester Digital membership: organisation membership (including sole traders), and individual membership (including students).

For organisations the annual membership fee depends on the number of employees. Students can join for free. Large organisations with multiple departments and/or offices can count employees based in the North West and/or in the digital department.

• Membership is free to any student on a full time course. You must register with an email address ending in ac.uk.
• If your employer does not want to join you can as an individual.
• For organisations, once you have registered you may also provide other members of your organisation with their own login so that they can access all areas of the site and post items.

Manchester Digital reserves the right to terminate your membership if any of the membership information given is incorrect.

Your membership will become due for renewal after one year (and in subsequent years) and you will be emailed 30 days beforehand to remind you. Your card will then be charged (or you will be invoiced) for a further year's subscription unless you indicate that you do not wish to continue as a member.
