A North West IT services provider has landed a five-year contract worth up to £1m to provide full IT operating services for maritime engineering firm Viking SeaTech.
adept4, which is based at Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus, will provide full IT support for Viking SeaTech’s centres in Norway, Aberdeen, Perth and Singapore, as well as the company’s HQ in Aberdeen.
Peter Birkett, CEO of adept4, said: “Viking SeaTech is a growing company with a truly global reach, and this contract allows us to provide it with a flexible, scalable service which is easily accessible and manageable from any of their offices and equipment bases across the world.
“We have installed a cloud-based platform which will give Viking SeaTech the capacity to seamlessly expand as the company grows."
