What does it mean being on council?

The council is the governing body of the Manchester Digital Association. It appoints the board of Manchester Digital Limited.

There are 12 places on the council and council members are elected for a year.

Council meetings take place every other month, or sometimes monthly, depending on what is happening.

Council members are expected to help out with working groups such as the Education group (which looks at training and skills issues), or the Big Chip organising group.
