EON Reality is the UK’s only provider of free, in-person training for prospective VR and AR developers.
Our cutting-edge teaching approach to development allows you to define your new tech career - or re-define a brand new career path – in just 8 months, for 4 days per week.
The course is structured carefully, allowing you to take on other work and projects during tthe rest of the week as you need.
We take on students aged 18+ from across the North West region and beyond, who have backgrounds not only in ICT, Design, CS, 3D development, Art and Architecture - but for those who might not have even considered it before. Our graduates and employees have arrived from journalism, media tech, marketing and beyond.
As part of our vision "Knowledge is a Human Right", EON Reality Innovation Academy provides training for the following disciplines:
Code
Working in software used for interactive content creation
Design
An eye for what works in VR, AR, MR for headsets, mobile and huge interactive displays
Commerical project handling
Training is based on market-leading software solutions: Autodesk 3DS Max for 3D assets, EON software, JavaScript and visual programming (Routes). You will also be taught how to develop applications for hardware like Oculus Rift, LeapMotion, HTC Vive, CAVE™ as well as Android and iOS mobile devices and beyond.
Our Academy Trainers are world-class experts. You will be able to benefit from their years of experience in the development of VR and AR apps, as well as further understanding the global business and development landscapes in virtual and augmented realities. Plus, we'll be devoting part of the course to your career growth - it's great that you'll be on your way to becoming a developer, but we also want to develop you!

BUS From Manchester Piccdailly (Lever St. bus stop) First bus 181 or 182 to Shaw or Oldham, alighting at The Sharp Project. 2 minute walk: Cross both roads at the crossing safely towards One Centrla Park metrolink stop, and turn right. Turn left. Cross over safely outside GMP headquarters over to One Central Park.
TRAM Rochdale or Shaw line From Manchester Victoria to Central Park station. 1 minute walk: Alight at Central Park and walk towards the business park. Turn left. Cross over safely outside GMP headquarters over to One Central Park.
