Bliss - Manchester

Full-time (Permanent)

29 August 2019

As an accomplished PHP developer, you’ll have several years' agency experience under your belt. You'll have used CMS’s such as Drupal and frameworks like Symfony and Laravel. You'll understand the importance of keeping code well organised and code readability will be a minor obsession.

You'll enjoy agency life - the camaraderie, the opportunity to try new technology, and the variety of customer and project. This is a role for an individual that wants to be able to make a big contribution to a small business, and be rewarded for success.

In addition to client project work, this role will come with the opportunity to create and develop agency products, so you'll need to be creative and insightful.

Tech skills

Although the focus of this role will be PHP, there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in other technologies and projects. As such, anything else you can bring to the table will help your application. Here are a few things we play with on a daily basis:

  • PHP
  • Drupal 7 and 8
  • Go, Python, Ruby or Node.js
  • REST and SOAP APIs
  • Preprocessors, linters and build tools
  • Build pipelines
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Git, GitHub, GitLab, Git anything really.
