Capability Sourcing Manager - CDDO

As Capability Sourcing Manager you will focus on supporting the design and maintenance of the DDaT Strategic Workforce Plan and underpinning recruitment operations entitled the “Single Recruitment Front Door”.
You will support the Capability team to develop the workforce components of the Workforce Strategy and recruitment approach with bespoke research and briefing activities. Your day to day activities will include the production and coordination of research reports, engagement with cross government stakeholders and project management of specific deliverables with the Resourcing and Strategic Workforce Planning workstreams.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of designing and delivering an enhanced Workforce Strategy and recruitment operation that underpins the employee value proposition for DDaT professionals across government. You will give advice to departments, understand their recruitment and retention needs and help them find the right solution to meet these needs, coordinating with the wider DDaT Workforce and Capability Team. Specific focus will be placed on ensuring diversity in the DDaT Sourcing approach.
As Capability Sourcing Manager you will:
- Support the development and maintenance of DDaT specific sourcing blueprint using a range of research methods.
- Work with Civil Service Human Resources and external partners to identify alternative sourcing mechanisms to bring talent into government, working closely alongside the DDaT Resourcing and Leads.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across CDDO, within departments, HR centres of expertise and wider industry.
- Project manage external delivery partners (e.g Third Party Recruiters) on specific pieces of work relating the DDaT Resourcing work stream.
- Take a flexible approach approach to support cross-cutting research and briefing activities for the wider Capability Team.

You will have experience of facilitating face to face and remote engagement events to evaluate problems and identify solutions. You will combine excellent interpersonal skills with an outcome focused approach to deliver your objectives.

- Demonstrable evidence of thinking critically, using analysis and challenging assumptions
- Strong communication skills and someone who can build relationships with stakeholders, including with those at senior levels.
- The ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
