We are seeking 2 Delivery Managers to join the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum (DRCF).

The DRCF brings together the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and the Office of Communications (Ofcom) to support regulatory coordination in digital markets.

In March 2021 the DRCF published its first workplan setting out how the four regulators would work together on cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, end-to-end encryption and children’s safety online. The DRCF is supported by a secretariat drawn from its members that works across all four regulators to help set the agenda, engage with stakeholders and drive delivery of its workplan.

About the role

The Delivery Manager will drive implementation of the DRCF workplan, reporting to the DRCF Head of Delivery. With a zeal for results, you will work with subject matter experts and senior leaders across the four regulators to guide DRCF projects to success: brokering joint positions, identifying and addressing risks to delivery, and ensure that the DRCF as a whole delivers on its potential.

While employed by the ICO, you will role-model the ethos of the DRCF: working across organisational boundaries with ease, building strong relationships with project sponsors and senior leaders across the four regulators and fostering a ‘one DRCF’ spirit within the secretariat.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline or substantial work experience demonstrating graduate level ability
  • Formal project management qualifications e.g. PRINCE2, Agile.
  • At least 3 years’ experience of managing and delivering programmes / projects in public or private sector
  • Experience of delivering a programme or portfolio of projects under challenging constraints.
  • Experience of working across organisational boundaries and / or in complex environments.
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver through others: creating the structures and incentives necessary to sustain high performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrating the ability to establish trusted relationships, and the ability to negotiate, influence and persuade stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of digital regulation (in particular data protection / online safety / digital competition / financial services)
