Our client is a rapidly growing SaaS company, they offer a unique no-code editor, which customers can automate decision-making processes. They enable them to digitalise their services and instantly make what they have built available to their clients.

Their platform is used and loved by huge enterprise companies such as KPMG, McDonald's, PwC, and more to automate complex workflows - it's the essential toolkit for modern-day enterprises.

They are fully remote with people based in around 16 different countries. You are free to work from home, or from one of their office hubs in NYC, London, Frankfurt, or Berlin. They have just secured funding of over £50 million, there has never been a better time to join this company! 


The Role & Project 

You will be using the required technologies to build and maintain the multi-cloud, multi-region infrastructure for their product. A large part of the role will be making existing infrastructure more reliable and focusing on building, stability, and scaling.

The building and maintenance will be completed using AWS, so you will require extensive practical experience in this. Their main infrastructure stack is Kubernetes & Terraform and you will need extensive experience using these technologies within a professional environment.

The company works together as a team very closely and uses short feedback cycles, to allow for quicker responses to situations and reduced errors. They are looking for an individual who is proactive, is comfortable asking for support, and someone who wants to collaborate and make a difference to the team and business overall.
 

Responsibilities

  • AWS infrastructure building and reliability 

  • Focus on stability 

  • Identifying the needs of developers, fixing any issues that may arise 

  • Work with team to debug and fix issues as they arise

  • Adding automation 

  • Currently reactive, but wanting to move away from that and have more automation
     

Current Team

The team currently consists of an Engineering Manager, a Senior Engineer, and a Junior Engineer. However, the company currently has around 250 staff members in total.

They have a culture of continuous improvement .and want to support everyone in the business to become the best version of themselves by providing challenging work, great people to work with plus a generous L&D budget of £2000 per year

They are very flexible and inclusive, some people work part-time, everyone chooses their own hours and is in charge of being the boss of their own time.
 

Required Skills 

  • Terraform

The Interview Process / Next Steps 

The standard interview process is outlined below but this could vary on the person:

First Interview: - 30 Minute Telephone Call

Second Interview: - 1 Hour Technical Interview with a member of the team

Follow Up Interview: - 1 Hour Culture Interview

There are no take-home tests or whiteboarding

Interviews will start the week commencing 31st January 2022.
