-Their product is an automation platform used and loved by large enterprises like McDonalds, PwC, Deloitte and more.

-It enables them to build digital solutions to automate highly complex services like app building, chatbots, document automation, risk management and more.

-An example use case would be using the onboarding automation tool to create end to end onboarding workflows for clients, suppliers and employees, freeing up time and helping the onboarding process run smoothly.

-Now at just over 200 people, they have grown steadily over the last few years, welcoming people across Europe from many different backgrounds and cultures.


About The Role

- Mid to Senior Frontend Engineer working in a cross-functional product development team with other engineers, product managers, designers and testers

-Your main role within the team will be to develop components, write documentation and build tools to make it quick and easy for their users to implement features with this part of their product

-You’ll contribute to building better designer-developer relationships within the team to create a seamless user experience journey with their platform

-You won’t just be writing code, you’ll be creating concepts, doing research and helping prioritise feature requests.

What are we looking for?

-This is a mid to senior level role, which isn’t assessed on the basis of years of experience, but more to do with the responsibilities you’ve taken on in previous roles, how autonomously you can work and how much you can support other members in the team. 

-You’ll have strong front end development experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS. They use VueJS as their frontend framework but we’re happy to consider people with experience building component-based web applications with another modern JS framework. 

-You'll have a good level of experience with frontend testing. 

-You’re someone who cares about good user experience and detailed design.

-You're someone who can communicate with key stakeholders to prioritise feature requests. 


Who is this role great for?

-You love asynchronous working. You value meetings but not having them for the sake of having meetings. 

-You enjoy remote working and would also love the option to be a bit of a digital nomad. You can work remotely anywhere that is within 4 hours of CET. In fact they haven’t been remote since covid, they have been remote since day 1, so remote work isn’t a “perk” it’s an integral part of how they work. 

-You would like to work for a company that is big enough to be stable with good internal processes but not too big that you feel like a small cog in a big machine. Regardless of title, everyone’s input matters. Decisions are not just made top down and you can really make a difference.

-You’d like to work with great tech, but also have the opportunity to explore different paths within tech. They encourage you to develop your own skills with a very generous personal development budget and plenty of work time to use it.

This role is paying between £55,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience.

  1. 30 minute Initial interview, an informal conversation to understand more about you, what your drivers are, what kind of role and company is going to be the best next move for you. You can also ask any further questions that haven’t been answered already 

  2. 1 hour technical interview. There is no take home test, live pairing or whiteboard involved. This will be a deep dive into different technical topics from building performant web components, to accessibility to testing.

  3. 1 hour non-technical interview. This final stage will be focussed around the way you work in a team and your interpersonal skills.
