The Client:
Manhattan Partners are exclusively partnered with a Global Cloud Consultancy, founded 3 years ago by 2 people with an impressive and extensive background working with the world's top enterprise level clients. They have gone from strength to strength since their inception and covid has only accelerated their demand and client base.
The Team:
The company is small (<20 people), they work highly collaboratively with lots of pairing sessions, code reviews, test reviews, stand up ceremonies etc. We are looking to bring in a ML Developer into the platform/dev team within this recruitment drive. They also have a very ambitious roadmap for growth in 2021 so you're coming in at a really exciting time!
The Culture:
They have a no-blame culture, as everyone supports each other to work towards a common goal. The founders have worked incredibly hard to foster a culture of psychological safety, where all channels of communication are open and there's no internal politics or hierarchy, just a place you feel comfortable to do your best work.
We have personally placed the whole dev team in spring last year, who after having regular catch ups with, have been thoroughly enjoying their new roles and feel like the company have supported them in developing themselves.
The Role:
You'll be coming in as a ML developer focused on writing high quality code. You will be working very closely with the ML Data Analyst who will be staging data in pseudocode code that you will be required to process into functioning clean code.
Having a strong understanding of the ML workflow will enable you to build the ML powered suite and add new functionality within the bespoke, purpose-built SaaS platform. This platform helps to support business on their cloud driven infrastructure transformation, enterprise digitalization and Cloud and Data Centre (DC) migrations.
Your day to day responsibilities :
The Tech Stack:
The full stack you'll be involved with is below, though as you are coming in as the ML specialist the core requirements are Python, Scikit-learn and experience with the Pandas library. Anything else is a bonus.
Important note: You will also be considered for this role if you have experience using MATLAB or R. This will be an opportunity for you to upskill in Python and get certified in Cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
The Salary:
This role is paying between £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience.
