As the Lead Developer you will take a hands-on approach in designing, developing and delivering client requirements while also acting as a technical lead and mentor to the other members of the team. As a project lead there will be responsibility for keeping product management up to date with progress, prioritising the workload for the team and managing changes to requirements.
You will also be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of software by the development team. You will be the most significant development resource on the product team, taking on development of business-critical areas of the application. You will maintain an understanding of the technical details of the whole product and be comfortable explaining this to other members of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable to the product development manager for producing high-quality solutions
- Lead a team of developers through projects from design to delivery, ensuring efficient and accurate results
- Take responsibility for project delivery, liaising with product management for requirements and updates on progress
- Undertake development on business-critical areas of software
- Manage development priorities within a sprint to ensure timely delivery
- Act as a technical lead and mentor to other developers
- Maintain a good understanding of the whole product and be comfortable explaining this to other members of the team
- Maintain and share a view of the current sprint and what the objective is and ensure that the team are aware of this.
About you:
- At least 3 years’ experience developing applications using the .NET Framework
- Excellent technical coding skills with attention to detail, an ordered approach to problem solving and a desire to produce work of outstanding quality and reliability
