CODE COMPUTERLOVE EXPANDS ITS ONLINE MARKETING TEAM

Manchester digital agency Code Computerlove has expanded its online marketing team with the appointment of Analytics Manager Rob Jones and Search Manager Jane Cragg. Code has also appointed another applications developer to support the growing business. 

Rob Jones (31) brings more than six years of experience in analytics to Code. He joins from analytic provider Redeye, where he worked with clients including Npower, Vernons pools and BMIbaby. Prior to Redeye he worked at Nedstat.

At Code, Rob will be helping clients, including Brother UK, First TransPennine Express, Neville Johnson, Hillarys and Crown, to understand the goals of their websites, setting key performance indicators and developing a reporting framework that will satisfy the needs of key stakeholders within the business. Rob will deliver insight and solutions to clients that will help them improve all aspects of their online operations.

He said: "This is a growing sector of the online industry. 70% of companies expect to invest more in analytics and consultancy within the next few years.  I am optimistic about expanding the Code team further as more and more clients recognise the importance of web analytics.

Search Manager Jane Cragg has been an SEO specialist for the past five years, having previously held similar roles at the Latitude Group and Mando Group. She has worked with brands including Ocean Finance, HFS Loans, and Kwik Fit Insurance.

Her remit at Code is to handle the day to day running of optimisation campaigns, including link building and content distribution activity, ensuring that Code clients are continually benefitting from the ever changing landscape of search marketing. She also offers clients advice
and training on SEO.  

Tony McBeth has also been appointed by Code as an Applications Developer. His day to day role is to provide back end support to client websites, extending and adding new functionality using a variety of web techniques. He will work across Code's client base that includes HMV, Waterstone's, Kimberly Clark Corporation (Huggies/DryNites), PZ Cussons (Carex / Original Source), Crown paints, Lex, Brother UK, First Transpennine Express, Premier Foods, NUS and Hillarys.

After gaining a degree in Media Technology, Tony (27) worked at Universal Utilities prior to joining Code. He said: "My move to Code offers me the opportunity to work in the commercial web development arena and to really expand on my capabilities.
