International Women's Day Panel Event

This International Women’s Day, Infinity Works, part of Accenture, is bringing together some of Manchester’s top tech stars to explore ways to make the industry more inclusive. 

Join us for an interactive panel event to discuss the challenges of achieving gender equality, the solutions needed to create an equal opportunities environment, and to share insights on how we can all play our part in breaking the bias. 

The event is being hosted by Infinity Works and will include panellists from Accenture and Tech Returners. This event is open to all tech industry professionals and ideal for people with a keen interest in making the sector more inclusive. 

The panellists

Vanessa Harding, Managing Director at Accenture

Vanessa is a Managing Director in Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting Banking practice and has spent the last 15+ years focused on shaping and delivering large scale transformational change across a range of Banking clients. Vanessa co-leads Accenture North West and is spearheading Accenture's growth in the region, and sits a member of The Business in the Community North West Board. 

Beckie Taylor, CEO & Co-Founder at Tech Returners

Beckie is the Ambassador for Tech and Women in Leadership and the Co-founder of Women in Technology North with 17 years of experience in people, talent, and HR. In 2017, she launched Tech Returners, to empower returners and enable their opportunities in tech. Beckie has been recognised in the Computer Weekly Top 50 most Influential Women in Technology List in 2021 and has won the Transformational Leader Award at the Northern Power Women Awards.

Mark Dore, Managing Consultant at Infinity Works

Mark is a Managing Consultant at Infinity Works, leading teams which craft digital transformation journeys for some of the UK's leading brands. With more than 15 years experience in the tech sector, he has supported clients primarily in the banking, healthcare, and retail sectors. Mark now sits as part of the Infinity Works Manchester board, nurturing and championing tech talent across the region.  

Isha Edwards-Joshi, Senior Site Engineer at Waters Corporation

Isha is a non-binary person who enjoys all things tech and diversity and inclusion. Isha works in the healthcare sector as a senior site reliability engineer and enjoys creating more accessible and inclusive technology through infrastructure as code so that more people can have accessible healthcare. When Isha isn't coding they are training for half marathons and enjoys playing video games and reading self development books.
