DWP Digital has teamed up with Code First Girls to deliver a free online ‘Introduction to JavaScript’ course on Thursday 20 May at 6pm.
The course is open to anyone interested in taking their first steps into the world of front-end development. As well as exploring the basics of Javascript, they’ll also get the opportunity to find out more about what it’s like working in a digital role in government, and using your skills to make an impact on society.
The Department for Work and Pensions' (DWP) digital services are accessed by more than 20 million people each year at all stages of their lives. The course will be delivered by DWP Digital software engineers alongside Code First Girls instructors and provides an accessible learning opportunity for all, no matter what your educational background.
