Over the years, I've become mildly obsessed with my personal site's Lighthouse scores, but I also want it to have a personality rather than be ruthlessly optimised for performance. In this talk, we'll go on a 'performance safari', roaming up and down my homepage and talking about the different aspects that make it fast (ish). We'll cover the basics, some fundamental concepts, and a few more advanced tips – so there should be something for almost all levels.
