Introduction To Web Development - Training Workshop

This event has now ended.

Introduction to Web Development

Join us on the 10th May, as we invite the wonderful Tom Parson down to share his expertise and deliver an insightful training workshop on the Introduction to Web Development.

This is a hands-on workshop to introduce beginners into web development, where you can get stuck in and learn the basics of coding a website. Learn to write code in the 3 key programming languages that make up all websites: HTML, CSS and Javascript.

Perhaps you have an interest in learning to code but don't know where to start? Maybe you're looking to work more effectively with technical colleagues? Or are you looking for a complete career change? No matter what your reason is, everybody is welcome and no prior coding experience is necessary - so feel free to come on down and start learning!

Lunch & Refreshments provided by Sync.

About The Trainer

Upon inheriting the old family computer as a teen, Tom Parson taught himself HTML and has been making websites ever since. Nearly 20 years later, Tom has had a varied career as a freelancer, head of a web development team, user researcher, business founder and director, and more recently as a web development tutor and trainer. Tom can shed insight not only on web development, but on all of the other roles and processes that surround it. Today, Tom runs Huddle Digital, a bespoke web development agency, while teaching coding and producing his own music.
