Webinar: How to do a TED talk? In conversation with Vikas Shah MBE - JCI Manchester

This event has now ended.

Learn top tips on how to develop your public speaking skills

About this Event

JCI Manchester  are thrilled to have Vikas Shah MBE join us as our 2020 keynote speaker on how to deliver a TED talk.

Back in Feb 2018 Vikas spoke at Manchester TEDx and shared his personal story of his battles with mental health. JCI Manchester are also taking part in the 3 peaks challenge to fundraise for Anxiety UK’s 50th anniversary, so linking mental health to our personal development series is a key opportunity to explore how our public speaking skills can help share our experiences of dealing with mental health.

If you haven’t seen the talk you can watch it here, it's now been viewed over 100,000 times! So he must have done something right!

Developing your public speaking skills is a key pillar within JCI’s training programme so we’re hoping to get some top tips from Vikas on his experiences of speaking to a crowd of over 1,500 people.

The keynote will be from 7:00-8:00pm.

Please be aware that the cost of non-member tickets will be donated to our community partner Invisible (Manchester).
