About the job

Job summary

Our teams and our delivery managers work on products that impacts some of the most vulnerable people in society. We’re looking for people who are as motivated by that unique purpose as we are. We have two roles on offer within the following teams:

Within Hybrid Cloud Services we are responsible for the building and running of cloud-based tooling for use across the department in the development of our services, some of which support the most vulnerable users in society to receive the financial support they need as a result of their health condition or disability.

In Retirement Digital, we are responsible for running and transforming digital services. We ensure people over state pension age can plan for and secure all the support they need to live a life without unnecessary hardship. We are a key part of DWP's modernisation story with commitments to deliver end-to-end service transformation across the support we provide to citizens and DWP staff. We are seeking to transform the way some of our most vulnerable users get the support they need. Working alongside policy, strategy, service delivery and cross-government digital areas we are designing the health and disability services of the future looking to how we can make improvements and release value early and regularly while we aim towards a future vision of joined up services which meet user needs and align with departmental strategy.

We are looking for enthusiastic Agile Delivery Managers who will be comfortable working alongside the Product Manager and with technical and data professionals, covering a wide breadth of activity which focuses on creating services focused on improving citizen experience.
