The North West Cyber Resilience Centre -
The Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC) is a non-profit organisation that exists to support and protect businesses located within Greater Manchester. It offers a wide range of resilience services, delivered by an expert team of trusted professionals, seconded Police Officers and ethical hacking students from local universities. The centre is a joint venture between Greater Manchester Police and Manchester Digital.
This exciting opportunity will suit a highly motivated, self-starter with technical sales experience who thrives on making a difference and helping small businesses. This role is key to attracting new members and developing partnerships and collaborations that will help the centre to meet its commercial objectives.
Key objectives and accountabilities
Working with the marketing manager and centre directors to develop an ambitious membership and services strategy.
Driving revenue by promoting membership and services and developing partnerships and collaborations with relevant third parties..
Spot opportunities and gaps in the market where the Cyber Resilience Centre (CRC)can develop new products and services.
Work closely with our senior ethical hacker and student team to develop client propositions and manage client liaison.
Develop our white labelling proposition with key partners and stakeholders across the region.
Provide monthly reports to the directors on membership and services growth.
Build the profile of the centre and its work across the region and ensure that the centre is networked into the region’s small business community.
Work with the existing CRC community such as the Trusted Partner and Cyber Expert Group to ensure that they are maximising and benefiting from their relationships with the centre.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience as an account manager.
- Proven ability in forecasting and hitting sales targets.
- Experience in cybersecurity or technical sales
Knowledge and skills
- Ability to generate own leads.
- Strong negotiating and closing skills.
- Able to balance competing priorities
- Able to develop multi level relationships with businesses and public sector stakeholders.
- Able to work as part of a small team.
- Excellent written and communication skills
