Paid Marketing Manager

Playing a pivotal role in execution of our clients’ DTC go-to-market plans, we are seeking a Paid Media Expert that can coordinate the development and execution of paid campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, and other evolving paid channels. This role is perfect for an analytical mind who is confident with making client recommendations and is performance focused.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Lead on the development and activation of performance marketing campaigns, for a portfolio of e-Commerce clients 
  • Research, plan, build and optimise paid marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Snapchat 
  • Confidently provide consultative recommendations, internally and to clients, across paid marketing strategies and tactics. Expertise of paid social is particularly desired 
  • Build insightful reports focused on client KPIs  
  • Closely collaborate with the Director of Strategy to understand and deliver client strategic directions 
  • Bring creativity and insight-led thinking to elevate client brands and drive positive engagement that improves conversion and ROI 
  • Define and agree KPIs and measurement metrics with client, in collaboration with Campaign Manager 
  • Closely work with the Campaign manager to research, plan and source engaging, on-brand content 
  • Understand and articulate performance figures and results, regularly presenting reports internally and to clients  
  • Keep up to date with paid media and social platform developments (e.g., iOS14 update) and keep clients ahead of the curve with necessary changes  
  • Maintain client SLA agreements, procedures, and deadlines 

 Paid Marketing Manager skills required:   

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Paid Media Lead or Marketing Manager 
  • Creativity and curiosity. Looking to try new approaches that will help clients cut through the noise in crowded markets 
  • Strategic and hands on, able and willing to plan and deliver on campaigns  
  • Ability to communicate confidently and succinctly to clients at the most senior level  
  • Ability to execute and measure campaigns through data-driven metrics  
  • Experience in managing multiple clients simultaneously  
  • Excellent stakeholder skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional teams  
  • Strong customer focus, placing them at the centre of the paid strategies   
  • Demonstrate that you understand your client’s brand, objectives  
  • Proficient ability and experience in using ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Data Studio, MS Excel, Microsoft Clarity 


We’re a predominantly office-based team with a flexible approach to working from home and hybrid working.  We’re conveniently located on King Street in Manchester City Centre. 

 Our core hours are 9AM – 5PM but with great flexibility and have a 4PM finish on a Friday!
