About the Role
This is a newly-created role and is one of the exciting steps we are taking into developing our cloud infrastructure strategy. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud-based infrastructure solutions that align with the firm's strategic objectives, while evaluating and recommending appropriate Azure services to optimize performance and cost efficiency in diverse scenarios. This role is located in either our Global Services Office in downtown Los Angeles, Las Vegas, or Manchester offices. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
- Implementing security best practices and adhering to compliance standards to ensure data protection and privacy.
- Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintaining system integrity.
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying new solutions and recognising opportunities for automation and efficiency

- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and can effectively interact with people at all organisational levels of the firm
- Are excited by change and feel comfortable hand-holding stakeholders through transformations
- Enjoy solving problems, thinking critically and analytically and can offer a first-class customer service
And have:
- Extensive experience of progressive computer systems management in a large-scale – ideally global – enterprise environment. Knowledge of a corporate environment would be beneficial
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions and hands-on experience of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or Higher Education Diploma in Information Technology is desired and/or a Microsoft Azure Certification or equivalent experience is highly desired
