Manhattan Partners have acquired an exciting new role with a business who works with investors providing a service of excellence in the property space. The growing team is based in central Manchester and they’re looking for a BI Analyst to further their growth and success. The company are beginning to make significant investments in utilising their data to make clever business decisions and their first BI hire will be integral in driving this change.
As this is a totally new role this is a brilliant and rare opportunity to start with a totally blank canvas and really build up the BI function from scratch. Giving you the chance to take a lead BI analyst position in the very close future, going down the technical or management route. You’ll even become the go to advisory on tools and databases the business should be using.
Currently the projects are split into two phases, the first is on data management dashboards, where you’ll be required to understand all the data that is available. You’ll be working with stakeholders from CEO level to customer agents. The second phase, will be truly exciting, and involves the automation of many services including their CRM, email management and so on. There is also a further project revolving around mobile applications and applying the same process which is in the pipeline.
We are looking for someone with strong stakeholder management, and a technical background as the role is not 100% tech focused but more on data visualisation. You’ll be working as part of a small yet highly effective team consisting of a Business Analyst, Salesforce Developer and IT Manager. Further to this you’ll also work closely with the COO who is a huge advocate of using data to drive change within the business.
As well as consistently improving and developing your business intelligence skills there is also an opportunity to gain exposure to Salesforce and various other technologies.
Day to day responsibilities
The core part of your role will be to develop reports, create stunning dashboards in Power BI and present these findings to the senior management team. Because of this, you will need to be an excellent communicator and have previous experience of presenting data to stakeholders/directors etc.

Skills/Tech required for this position
-Data Visualisation with one of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Business Objects.
-Experience presenting reports and dashboards to stakeholders/senior management.
-Excellent communication skills are a must.
-Highly self-motivated and able to work from your own initiative.
Nice to have skills (skills you don’t need but will adopt)
-Any Salesforce knowledge.
