Purpose of the Role

This role manages and delivers day to day operations of specific Early Careers Talent Management programmes, including Graduates, Apprentices, Interns and Work Experience.  Working closely with the Senior Performance and Talent Programmes Manager and wider Team, the Talent Associate works across a number of projects and programmes to help support the recruitment and development of colleagues and talent management processes to ensure Ofcom is building a diverse and inclusive future talent pipeline.


Key responsibilities

  • Operationally own and deliver programmes as directed by the Senior Performance and Talent Programmes Manager. Working with the business and People Team colleagues to ensure successful day to day management of the programmes, building a high performing and diverse succession pipeline

  • Leading on programme activities to ensure a seamless experience across assessment centres, onboarding, rotations, performance, development, and retention. 

  • Develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively to ensure the needs of the programmes are met

  • Own the production of talent materials and related management decks

  • Support a 1st class internal / external candidate and hiring manager talent experience, working collaboratively across all P&T functions  


Skills, Knowledge and experience 

  • Highly organised and comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritising to manage a busy workload and meet competing deadlines

  • Knowledge of Early Careers Programmes desirable.
