Role Summary
Working within an Agile environment you will take a key role within the business as a Software Architect. You will be responsible for leading a team and the alignment of the technical direction. Providing a strong technical direction involves establishing a technical vision, resolving technical disagreements and managing the technical quality of team deliverables.

Responsibilities
Set the expectations for the code quality and corresponding KPIs
Setup and follow the application of the coding practices
Actively contribute to the technical solution definition and improvements
Contributing to the code development at least 50% of his/her time
Help the team focus on cross/non-functional requirements
Engage and role-model the pair-programming and pair-reviewing sessions
Educate and mentor junior developers to help them grow in their role
Aligning both Development and DevOps priorities to meet technical goals
Monitoring of security and commercial impact of developments on the platform
About you
Team player with a sharp intellect, challenging approach and a “can do attitude”.
Significant experience in execution of the full software engineering lifecycle (both traditional and agile) – including operational deployment knowledge with modern development practices and tools .
Experience of multi-stakeholder change management activities in a complex environment
Experience of delivering software in the context of system level and system of systems programmes
An understanding of the exploitation of Architectural modelling techniques.
Able to influence a wide range of people to get things done – needs to be highly effective in a matrix based organisation – encourages an open environment where information and ideas are shared and innovative thinking is stimulated
