We’re looking for an Associate Infrastructure Engineer to join us in Manchester to provide technical leadership and service ownership for our End User Compute (EUC) devices platform. In this role, you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office.
As an Associate Infrastructure Engineer at Co-op, we’ll look to you to help shape our technical strategy. You’ll also support the development of our technical designs and solutions across a range of EUC services (e.g. devices, application packaging, image management, AVD/Citrix, policy and endpoint management, and assistive technology).
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with our third-party managed partners to deliver a great service for our EUC devices platform
- Provide technical expertise across all supported services
- Support strategy reviews to make sure we’re getting the most out of new and existing tools
- Regularly test and implement new features and updates to our EUC devices platform
- Contribute to solution application and operational designs
- Coach and mentor your colleagues to support their development
This role would suit people who have
- Experience delivering service across multiple EUC environments
- A broad understanding of technology, including device/endpoint management, imaging, and application packaging
- Knowledge of policy and endpoint management
- Good communication skills, with the ability to translate technical language to a non-technical audience
- Good collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge inclusively
