Senior Application Engineer - Funeralcare

£53,000 to £65,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 5)

Manchester city centre (hybrid working)

We’re looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join us in Manchester to support Co-op Funeralcare migrate from Dynamics Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office.

As a Senior Application Engineer at Co-op, you’ll use your knowledge and experience to provide guidance and advice on all things Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. We’ll look to you to help understand and interpret our business needs and requirements and collaborate with our wider technology teams to propose and implement the most appropriate solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Provide expert knowledge and advice on the Microsoft Dynamics product suite (e.g. Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations)
  • Work closely alongside internal and external partners to turn their needs and requirements into effective and appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with our suppliers to build solutions into continuous delivery streams
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities for our service to make sure we’re always delivering value

This role would suit people who have

  • Experience in a Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant role, or similar
  • A solid understanding of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, with the ability to use it to configure and map requirements
  • Experience migrating from Dynamics Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
  • The ability to gather needs and requirement information from end users/customers
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information for a non-technical audience
