We’re looking for a Senior Data Architect to join us in Manchester to manage and develop our future ERP Platform data and reporting architecture, while making sure that what we currently have in place is fit for purpose. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office.
As a Senior Data Architect, we’ll look to you to help us make the most out of our ERP Platform data assets and reporting capabilities; using these to influence decision making. Working closely alongside our project and enterprise architecture teams, you’ll own the ERP Platform data architecture roadmap for capabilities.
What you’ll do
- Be accountable for our end-to-end ERP Platform data architecture
- Analyse the different processes, data, and reporting requirements from across the business
- Design new data models, logical models, data flows, and datamarts
- Develop and prepare functional specifications for data architecture
- Develop data architecture guardrails including a data reference architecture
- Work closely alongside colleagues to define metadata layers, technical strategy and optimal integration within our existing IT landscape
This role would suit people who have
- Experience working in a Data Architect role
- A proven track record of successfully managing data architecture at a solution level
- Experience working with data warehouse and business intelligence solutions
- Experience in modelling and governing data in motion and data at rest
- A good understanding of ERP solutions (e.g. SAP)
