As a developer in the product development team, you will be responsible for the support and enhancement of a range of web, desktop and mobile applications. You will know our systems and processes well enough to contribute to the requirements for new features and bug fixes. You will contribute to a mixture of support tasks, investigating and resolving bugs and implementing enhancements to existing applications. Tasks will typically be small in scale but diverse in nature allowing you to gain exposure to our suite of solutions.

You must have a positive attitude, be passionate about development and take pride in what you produce. In this role you will have daily contact with clients so good communications skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to the product team lead for the timely delivery of development tasks
  • Accountable to the product development manager for the quality of work produced
  • Investigate and diagnose bugs reported by clients
  • Provide estimate information for support requests and features
  • Perform small scale development and bug fix tasks
  • Write unit tests to support code changes
  • Review and offer quality assurance to code changes made by other members of the team

About you:

  • Either a graduate in a relevant subject or have equivalent commercial experience of .NET development.
  • An ordered approach to problem solving and a desire to produce work of outstanding quality and reliability
  • Some experience developing using the .NET Framework
  • Object orientated development experience
  • Knowledge of relational databases and TSQL
