Our Level 4 Software Developer programme is about tech employers spotting your potential.
It is designed to train a limited and carefully selected group of learners each year who can demonstrate the right attitude and aptitude for becoming excellent software developers.
If selected, you'll be hired by well-known tech companies and brands in the region and undertake the Level 4 Software Developer Apprenticeship.
You do not have to have experience however a willingness to learn and demonstration of self-learning is essential to success.

How it works
Applications are open annually between January and June. If your application is shortlisted you will be invited to attend an assessment and selection day which are run July to August. If you successfully secure a paid place on the programme, it will start employment and training in October 2021.

While on the training programme as a software developer apprentice, salaries range from £16,000 to £25,000.
This will vary from employer to employer hiring through the programme.
Once qualified, you will be a junior software developer.
According to our Skills Audit, salaries for junior software developers are on average approximately £20,000-27,000.
The programme starts in September and runs for 20 months, with 18 months of supported training while you undertake paid full-time work with your employer.
