David is a Legal Director at the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) with over 10 years’ experience advising on complex and high-profile consumer enforcement investigations, as well as the CMA’s other antitrust and markets functions. In recent years David has also led on the consumer law aspects of a number of the CMA’s digital-focused market studies, as well as the work of the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum’s ‘AI and Digital Hub’ and the CMA’s guidance to businesses on complying with consumer law when using AI agents. David is also the Legal Director for the Office for the Internal Market.
