Technology wasn't Jo's first career choice. Destined for a career in sport, injury forced a change of direction — and she found herself on an IT help desk. It was there she discovered her passion, realising that technology could be a genuine game changer for business and sparking a career spanning over 30 years.
Jo built a career driving large-scale global technology transformations through leadership roles at Diageo, Accenture, Yahoo, Betfair, the BBC, Wood Mackenzie and Skyscanner. She joined THG as Group CIO before becoming CTO of THG Ingenuity, where she leads software engineering, product and UX across the ecommerce platform, MarTech, omnichannel, mobile and infrastructure.
A people-first leader passionate about building inclusive, high-performing teams, Jo hosts the Supercharged Ingenuity podcast, exploring AI and industry trends, and sits on the advisory boards of the Global CIO Institute, HotTopics, Forrester and the UK IT Leaders group.
