Clio is the Fintech Policy Lead at Startup Coalition, the independent advocacy group representing the policy interests of technology-led startups and scaleups across the UK. In this role, she works across a range of fintech policy areas including savings and investments, payments, digital assets, open banking and open finance, financial inclusion, AI in financial services, and consumer credit reform. Startup Coalition works to shape the regulatory and policy environment to support a thriving and innovative fintech sector in the UK.
Before joining Startup Coalition, Clio was part of the Financial Services practice at political consultancy Global Counsel, where she specialised in payments, digital assets and fintech. Prior to that, she worked at trade body UK Finance on primary and secondary capital markets, and at public affairs firm Rud Pedersen UK, covering financial services, energy and housing.
Clio also holds a BA in International Politics and Spanish from the University of Bath and sits on the Executive Committee of Women in Public Affairs.
