Ben Etches is the founder of Sineco, a Greater Manchester deep tech startup creating biodriven music: adaptive soundscapes that respond in real time to your body. A former touring musician who has performed at Glastonbury, Ben set out to make music do something it never has and react to the listener. Sineco uses your biometric data to train a machine learning model that is yours alone. It learns how your body responds, shaping sound around your physiological state to deliver the perfect music for whatever you are doing. It is a step towards a bigger vision: personal AI that uses your own data to personalise your whole audio environment. Sineco has grown from proof of concept to a production-ready platform.
