Dr. Shiva NickAria is a translational TechBio scientist and two-time venture founder working at the intersection of immuno-oncology and frontier AI. Her career spans academia, healthcare, and biotechnology, with years of experience in clinical genetics, biomedical research, and therapeutic development and preclinical validation. She has led multidisciplinary projects across academia and industry, built international collaborations, and developed programmes to improve access to reliable care and diagnosis for underserved populations and rare diseases.
She completed her PhD in Cancer Immunotherapy at the University of Aberdeen and her postdoctoral research at the University of Manchester. Today, as Founder and Scientific Lead at ARIA Therapeutics, Shiva is building an AI-powered platform for novel, programmable therapeutics with the aim of delivering highly effective precision cancer treatments.
