Papermill lets everyone easily create perfect professional documents. Think of it like "Canva for documents", or "Overleaf for everyone" if you're used those apps before. 

Have you ever tried to write a report, a dissertation, a handbook, a contract  - anything that's a bit serious and technical, that needs to look good - using Microsoft Word or Google docs and found yourself ready to throw your laptop out of the window? Have you felt intense frustration trying to make your document look good, have things stay in the right place, get the styling right or fix the numbering or references? 

Sound familiar? Well, that is exactly the problem that Papermill solves.

About Us

Papermill is an early-stage startup. In fact, we're so new we haven't publicly launched yet - although that date is fast approaching. We raised funding in late 2021 and now we're building a product and building a team from our base in Enterprise City, Manchester. We're part of the excellent Exchange Accelerator Programme based in the hip workspace at Department Bonded Warehouse. 

Our mission is to produce great software that is designed around users' needs. We're starting with one of the most ubiquitous tools that exists - the wordprocessor - and reimagining it in a way that empowers users rather than frustrating them. We're taking on established tech giants with a fresh approach to document creation.
