The purpose of this short survey is to find out what the experiences are for women currently working or who have worked in Greater Manchester's digital and tech sector.
The sector is known for being forward-thinking and progressive yet The Manchester Digital Skills Audit has revealed that women account for only 19% of Greater Manchester's technical workforce.
We want to know what effect, if any, this has on women working in the industry, in both technical and non-technical roles. We also want to know what effect this has on the industry's potential to attain and retain women in the future.
These insights will also help inform our Employer’s Forum areas of priority.
