Here at Wise Owl, we're used to delivering in-depth, multi-day training courses for small groups of delegates. But we appreciate that not everyone has the time to devote to attending these courses - so much to do, so little time!
Recently, a client found themselves in exactly that situation so, in a change from the norm, we agreed to present a one-hour session to a larger group over a lunchtime.
This went down pretty well so we've decided to offer the service more widely in the form of Wise Owl Lunch and Learn sessions.
How does it work?
It's simple!
Pick a topic you'd like us to talk about.
Choose a date and time that works for your team (it doesn't necessarily have to be a lunchtime!).
Contact us to arrange a session.
Grab some lunch and enjoy the presentation!
We'll deliver the presentation via Microsoft Teams and you can choose if you'd like us to talk for the entire duration of the one-hour session or leave some time for your team to ask questions at the end.
Alternatively we can visit your company or organisation to deliver either a presentation in person (all that you'd need to do would be to provide a sufficiently large meeting room and speaker stand) or workshop-style drop-in training.
What topics can I pick?
Anything you like! Although preferably about some aspect of software that we deliver training courses in. It could be a specific feature of a particular piece of software or something more general. For reference, the inaugural session I mentioned above dealt with comparing traditional and modern ways of referencing cells and using lookup functions in Excel.
