Manchester’s an exciting place to build technology startups and with recent announcements such as Praetura Venture’s NPIF2 fund (including Praeseed), KPMG-Acceleris’ Wired for Growth initiative and investment momentum from the likes of Manchester Angels, we are really starting to shift the dial.
As a result, Manchester Digital and Glenluna Ventures have been asked to produce a piece of work for Manchester City Council to help them better understand the challenges and strengths of our startup ecosystem.
This piece of work is intended to document where each of the major pieces within the eco-system sit, identify any gaps and make recommendations to public sector stakeholders as to how they can support Manchester in its ambition to becoming a major force for UK startups.
