Supporting 10 SMEs to put AI to work in their business

Access to AI capability is becoming a growth issue for SMEs across Greater Manchester and wider North West. The businesses that benefit most will be the ones who move from exploration to implementation.

We have secured funding to support 10 SMEs to deploy AI against a real business challenge, while upskilling 50 women with applied AI capability aligned to live employer needs.

How it works

Each SME brings a defined AI or automation challenge. Over eight weeks, a screened team of participants works within your business to begin addressing that challenge.

They receive structured workshops, technical oversight and access to experienced mentors.

You receive focused resources applied to a real operational issue.

What makes this different

This is not consultancy and it is not training in isolation.

It is structured, supported deployment designed to reduce employer risk while building long-term capability in the region.

What we ask from participating SMEs

Businesses who would like to take part need to display:

  • Clearly defined AI or automation need - attend our AI Enablement on 4th August for structured support with this
  • Access to relevant systems and leadership
  • Commitment to support and onboard the participant team
  • A genuine interest in hiring or building internal automation capability now or in the future

Places are limited to 10 SMEs.

If your business is ready to put AI to work properly, contact the team to express interest.
