Designing for good: Creating ethical products and services

This event has now ended.

Addressing the most pressing concerns of our time, overcoming obstacles and creating a better tomorrow are all crucial tasks for designers.

How can we create products and services that positively impact both people and the world around us?

Now more than ever, we need to be more conscious of our work's social and environmental impact and how to make choices that reflect our personal values.

Join us at Human-Centered Design Manchester for a discussion about the role of ethics in design, featuring a panel that will share their experiences with a focus on designing for good and how to integrate ethical considerations into your work.

We have curated a panel to discuss and debate questions like:

  • What is preventing us from making products and services ethical?
  • How can we embed sustainable practices into our services or businesses?
  • Are we doing enough to educate creators and decision-makers?
  • How do we make it simpler to make ethical services and products?

There will be plenty of opportunities to share ideas and ask questions so come prepared to be engaged and inspired.

This is a physical event, however, the lightning talk and panel discussion will also be streamed live on Code's Instagram.

Host
