November Cyber Security Drop-in Clinic #AskTheCRC

This event has now ended.

This event is your chance to ask the experts! We're running this clinic as a regular surgery session for businesses to offer free advice, guidance and support to anyone who is unsure about any aspect of their current cybersecurity setup.

Neil Jones (Detective Superintendent of Greater Manchester Police) and MJ (Senior Ethical Hacker at the Cyber Resilience Centre) are running this free cybersecurity drop-in clinic for businesses based in the North West to ask for advice or guidance with cybersecurity.

Some of the questions we’ll be covering include;

  • What is two-factor authentication? Why do I need to use it?
  • How does ransomware get into my system?
  • Do all my staff need to know about Cyber Security?

Come prepared with any questions or queries you have around cybersecurity.

Why attend our Cyber Clinic?

Cyber Security is increasingly an important aspect of your business, with cybercriminals always on the lookout for new opportunities and are becoming more and more sophisticated, causing financially devastating effects on the businesses they target.

Here at The Cyber Resilience Centre for Greater Manchester, our mission is to work in partnership with businesses to grow and strengthen their resilience to online crime and cyber attacks.
