A unique form of fun, Fire Tech camps inspire young minds to code computers, engineer robots, design video games, create Virtual Reality experiences and use digital skills to produce graphics, music, photography and vlogs.

There's a course for every age and stage - from complete beginners to tech enthusiasts who want to learn more. Engineering and Computer Science students from some of the UK's most prestigious universities make up the handpicked camp tutor teams.

Set up by USA-born tech enthusiast, Jill Hodges, Fire Tech has delivered over 10,000 courses across the world and will take up residence at the University of Manchester (M13 9PL) over two days on December 20-21st. Classes are taught by subject-specialists with an 8:1 student to tutor ratio.

This is a real quote from a real parent whose son attended Fire Tech: "Fire Tech has had a hugely positive effect on [my son]. It is lovely to see him so engaged....there is a definite correlation between coming to camp and deciding to work really hard at school."
