A new series of events, free to Manchester Digital members that will benefit anyone involved in the creation and distribution of content. Through case studies, expert lectures and presentations they will give businesses a greater understanding of new business models and technologies and how they can be deployed to generate revenue and retain a competitive edge in fast moving markets.
#1 Usability and the User Experience
Overview
The first Content Creator Session is being hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University and is an opportunity to catch up on the latest developments in user experience and usability testing of interactive products over different platforms. This event will explore and demonstrate techniques to help businesses understand users better and design effective and engaging content.
Presentations will be from the BBC and Paul Rouke, Head of Usability at PRWD specialists in usability and conversion rate optimisation. The event will be chaired by Manchester Digital Secretary and Digital Futurist, Mike Ryan.
Following the presentations there will be tours and demonstrations of MMU’s Usability Laboratory. The facility is unique in the North West and can be used to capture and analyse human interaction with digital devices and products allowing testers to refine and improve their technology.
The event will finish with drinks and networking.
