The Creative Industries Networking Group (CING) recently turned two years old, and to celebrate these past two years of providing monthly networking and business support to the region’s creative talent, they have decided to throw a party on Monday 11th October.
The keynote speaker of the evening will be Drew Hemment of FutureEverything. He will be there to launch a new project that CING has developed in response to FutureEverything’s open data challenge, and will also be filling us in on EverythingFuture related.
CING’s second birthday party will also play host to their first Creative Marketplace. This marketplace will bring together the region’s leading creative support networks as well as the very best of creative businesses from the area, to showcase the work and services they provide.
Creative support networks providing a stall in this marketplace already includes Arts and Business, Blue Orchid, Broadstone Mill, Business Link NW, Chapel Street Business Group, Creative Industries Trafford, Creative Manchester, Creative Stockport, Manchester Digital, Manchester Digital Development Agency (MDDA), Redeye, and Vision+Media.
In addition, selected Creative businesses from CING will also showcase their work in the creative marketplace. They represent a wide range of businesses from across the industry, and according to the Founder and Executive Director of CING, Ben Hui, “What is better to celebrate CING’s 2nd birthday party than by showcasing members’ companies, alongside the region’s best business support? This fits in perfectly with our original idea of CING, which is to be developed by the industry for the industry”.
