Your Tutor

Particle physicist turned MadFabLab manager Marieke can play a mean glass harp (an instrument made of wine glasses filled with varying amounts of water) and her icing sugar fireworks once caused evacuation of the Museum of Science and Industry.

Her ambitious science communication projects have included an adult ball pool, a giant fractal made from over a million business cards, an immersive sound installation that explored the interconnections between different animal species and a digital game #HookedOnMusic that explores catchy music and the link with dementia and has been played in every country on the planet.
