UKTI is hosting a free event as part of its initiative to get more 1,000 new businesses in the North West exporting.

The North West Export Challenge: The Next Steps event will feature UK Trade and Investment directors from more than 10 European countries who will be leading workshops to discuss the various opportunities available.

Malcolm Arnold, international trade adviser at UKTI, said: "This is an important initiative. We are targeting both manufacturing and service companies who are well established and have either nil or less than 10 per cent exports but are keen to increase this with help, advice and funding."

The event is to take place on 8th March at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.

Businesses have until 6th March to register to attend the event.
