PHP is acknowledged as the most widely used programming language on the web, utilised by over 5 million developers and accounting for 40% of existing web applications. It is the fourth most popular programming language overall making it an area of huge potential.

The heart and soul of a conference is the community that it serves. PHPNW is run by passionate volunteers, bringing an annual conference that benefits both developers and their companies.

The speakers have been selected via Call for Papers and hope that you share our excitement by this year’s fantastic lineup! Thank you to everyone who submitted. As more and more speakers confirm their place, we will be updating this schedule so please keep an eye on the site.

TICKET TYPES

There are currently two types of tickets available:

• Early Bird: Gets you into the Saturday and optionally the Sunday events, includes all your refreshments, lunch and optionally entry to the evening social on the Saturday. As the conference draws near, this ticket will disappear and be replaced by Standard Tickets. So get in early and book now for this great saving! (Available until the 4th September)
• Tutorial Day: Gets you into the Friday Tutorial Day and includes all the benefits of the Blind Bird/Early Bird/Standard Tickets, should you wish to take them up – this is a great limited numbers offer, book now!
• Tickets include refreshments and food ( lunch ) during Saturday daytime and if you’re staying for the evening Social, there’s more food and as previous years we aim to have a sponsored bar.

This year we are holding our 4th annual PHPNW conference at the newly-transformed Ramada Manchester Piccadilly which is a vibrant and lively hotel overlooking Manchester’s vivacious city centre. Due to it’s central location, everything Manchester has to offer is on the hotel’s doorstep.
