The Technology Strategy Board is the UK’s innovation agency (www.innovateuk.org) sponsored by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS). Its goal is to accelerate economic growth by stimulating and supporting business-led innovation. It achieves this by bringing together business, research and the public sector, to accelerate the development of innovative products and services to meet market needs, tackle major societal challenges and help build the future economy.
This two hour event hosted by MSP will be lead by David Bott, Director of Innovation Programmes and Mike Biddle, Interim Deputy Director of Innovation Programmes. It will provide an overview of the Technology Strategy Board’s funding priorities and Q&A, followed by break-out sessions with their technology leads where you can discuss specific innovation challenges, collaboration forming and even explore opportunities for funding.
